To know the adequate destination of compost of urban garbage (CLU) in ground Latossolo Vermelho Escuro (LVE), the sequential fraction was proceeded from heavy metal, 4 and 24 days after the mixture, aiming at the ambient agreement of the chemical transformations Cd, Cr, Cu, Fe, Mn, Ni, Pb and Zn and risks. Was installed in vases, mixing the CLU to the amounts of CLU. The extractors used in the sequence, for method TESSIER modified for Chitolina, had been: MgCl2 (soluble fraction); CH3COONa; Hidroxilamina + HOA; H2O2 + NH4OAc and HNO3 + HClO4 (residual). The total values had been analyzed by the attack of HF. The results had shown that: 1) CLU did not modify pH of the ground; the 2) metal values heavy had been remained in normal levels, except Cd; 3) the ground attenuated the metal availability being predominantly in the residual fraction, not absortable for the plants.Downloads
