Brazilian legislation establishes the obligation of enterprises to carry out reverse logistics for lubricating oils, but often there are no facilities to treat this effluent due to the high cost of water and oil separation boxes and the lack of inspection. From this fact, the present work had the objective of constructing a prototype separator of water and oil of low cost using alternative materials and appropriating of a phytorethetic species. The construction of this occurred with the following materials: 20L lubricating oil gallon, 25mm PVC pipe, 25mm PVC pipe flange adapter, 25mm PVC welding knee, 25mm weldable adapter, 25mm weldable adapter, 25mm cap beyond the phytoremediate species: Eichhornia crassipes. The prototype was built with $ 86.65. It can be concluded that a system with these characteristics becomes economically viable to small enterprises generating effluents with such characteristics due to the obligatoriness of the existence of reverse logistics in them, as well as the low cost of this prototype.Downloads
